Gap thrilled many with news of a DAP hoodie with Harlem icon Dapper Dan. The joy turned to fury when the hoodie launched on Thursday and sold out with a minute, leaving excited shoppers empty handed. Not only did the hoodie evaporate, but finding it on the site was akin to navigating a scavenger hunt. I now know why Ye aka Kanye West chose to set up his YEEZY launches on an entirely separate site.

If Gap doesn’t capitalize on the enthusiasm for the DAP hoodie and do a restock in multiple colors, it’s more lost than I thought.
