Gap And YEEZY Launch YZY With A Blue 'Round' Puffer Jacket

Gap and Yeezy's collaborative partnership official took flight last night with a blue YZY Round jacket, which was made available for pre-order.

Priced at $200, the item is now available to pre-order at gap.com/yzy. You will have to provide your name, telephone number, email and garment sizing to enter the queue.

Making use of recycled nylon, the bright blue hue indicates a shift away from the mainly neutral tones West's apparel and footwear have become known for. Similar to Yeezy sneakers, the shoes don't feature a prominent logo other than the YZY tag on the inside of the jacket.

As part of a supporting campaign, images of the jacket are being projected onto various buildings in U.S. cities.

As of now, the two brands have provided any additional information on future launches.

On a side note, it’s hard to imagine this launch doesn’t help provide some tailwinds for YEEZY footwear. It will be interesting to see if there is some element of coordination between YEEZY and YZY, whether…
