This morning at about 1:00 AM EST, Drake dropped Certified Lover Boy, a feature-filled album that makes use of a Damien Hirst emoji painting for cover art. The 34-year-old rapper takes shots at Kanye West on "7am On Bridle Path,” implying he’s losing his most loyal soldiers and is hypnotized by press: “That’s why your people not believers, they all leaving you; that’s why you buying into the hype that the press is feeding you.” No thoughts from me on the album yet because I need to listen to it a few more times to take it in.
Five days prior, Kanye West released Donda, a 27-song project also filled with features.
